What is Microblading?
Microblading is semi permanent cosmetic procedure that is used to fill in sparse or missing parts of eyebrows. PhiBrows is a Microblading technique that uses the golden mean found in nature (the number φ 1.618), and very precise eyebrow measurements. Using an eyebrow caliper, and the golden mean of Phi we can ensure that your eyebrows will naturally compliment all the features of your face with perfect symmetry.
The PhiBrow method of Microblading is feathering natural hair strokes directly below the skin’s surface. Creating gorgeous, natural, beautifully designed eyebrows that are perfectly symmetrical. Video of the PhiBrows microblading procedure can be watched here.
Phibrows is an advanced technique that uses the slimmest Microblade available on the market, creating your custom-designed brows. With a blend of specialized pigments we match your natural eyebrow hair color to give you the most natural look possible. Microblading results are semi- permanent and will last up to two years, or even longer depending on skin type. After this time you can refresh your color by undergoing another treatment. The aim of the technique is to create brow that looks natural and designed just for you. Our permanent makeup artists are highly qualified and have worked in this field since 2008.
The Microblading Procedure
We first begin with a consultation to evaluate the client’s wishes and expectations. Then using an advanced caliper, we take measurements on the keys points of your face. This ensures perfect symmetry and shape. Using these measurements we will draw in your ideal contour and arch.
After complete satisfaction with your measurements and shape, we take a photo of your face and use our software to digitally ensure perfect symmetry.
After a numbing cream is applied, actual microblading can begin. The hair stroking blade motion follows the natural trend of your existing eyebrow hairs, blending and creating an undetectable finish.
The procedure itself can be uncomfortable. It has been described as ‘a scratchy feeling’ but the topical numbing cream eases discomfort . Immediately after the procedure is complete, your eyebrows will be noticeably darker. This will subside as the pigment settles beneath the skin. Healing time ranges between seven and fourteen days. Depending how your pigment settles a follow-up appointment may be recommended. This will touch up any areas that may have faded during the healing process and is included in your original purchase.
